Ten Years

It has been almost ten years since I have posted, life has continued forward and things fell thru cracks, and in those cracks, flowers grew. Recently and unexpectedly, I found this old blog and my access to it and I HAD to bring it back to life. So much has happened and I cannot wait to catch everything up to speed.

In order to do that, we have to go backwards first.

But in order to go back, we first need to pause for a moment and appreciate how much can change and yet stay the same in a decade. A lot has changed for me, and yet my dreams of small minimal living has stayed the same. We were living in Colorado when I first started writing this blog, managed to travel back to Washington and continued to build the trailer… all the while building our family.

A bit of a re-introduction.

I’m Erin! My husband Ben and I live in the PNW with our two children and three dogs! Due to our growth since I’ve last posted, we’ve had to expand out of our micro trailer. Although, if you can imagine it… by the time we moved out of our cargo trailer – we had one dog and one 3 month old baby. It was a tight fit but we managed! Not always with the most grace, but we did it with love.

I didn’t properly update the progress on our trailer and for that I apologize. It was such a fun project that I look back on with so much fondness. We met so many people while living in Colorado and building it up, some who we are still in contact with a decade later, raising babies alongside them!

As we get reacquainted, I will properly post the final updates of the work we did on it, and, if after a decade you’re still with me, you will get to see what we have upgraded to and are working on now!

(Hint, it is big and yellow and has a lot of windows)

If you are new here, feel free to scroll back on old posts to see what the hell I’m talking about.

I’m glad to be back.
